Hello, I did not know that antibiotics and BC can change things so much. I recently had a tooth removed and was prescribed antibiotics for it. My labia started to itch a week after that. A trip to the obygyn revealed I had Candida- the yeast infection. I was given antifungal creams and probiotics pills to put in the vag. It has been 1 week since the dose is completed, I have an itchy irritated labia, and a sensitive clitoris..no idea why. Should I revisit the doc? or are there any home remedies which may help? BC: Microgynon 30

It might have not helped clear it completely, sounds like a good idea to book another appointment with your doctor.

I honestly thought I posted this for a second 🤣 I had a tooth extracted 2 weeks ago and started taking antibiotics and I ended up getting a yeast infection or I thought it was one! Kept applying anti-fungal cream, it would ease the itch on my labia but it wasn't going away. My labia was burning, swollen, my vagina felt like rubber...it was bad. I was wondering why it hurt so bad, then I found a gum drop sized ball next to & half on my labia, I thought it was a cyst. 2 days later it just disappeared and so did the itch & burning. Definitely try feeling down there to see if there's anything at all that's out of the normal. Warm baths/showers help a lot! Just make sure you're rinsing/soaking in the shower/bath everyday, it helps
