Just ranting about my drs and my medical disorder and drs appointments regarding it. I had an appointment with my specialist in the city over (two hour drive) for my medical disorder that was originally meant to be in person. Because my car was not drivable after a recent accident and I was dealing with the cost of repairs, I ended up rescheduling it to a phone call. When I called to reschedule originally wanted to schedule for a different day. I was told by reception that there were no blood tests, urine tests or x rays booked for that appointment, which was confusing because I normally have bloodwork and urine testing done at every visit. I proceeded to change it to a phone call appointment and during phone appointment, where we discussed my health and diet. After the call, my specialist told me I still need to travel to the hospital to complete bloodwork and a urine sample, and that it cannot be done in my town due to the testing being highly specialized. This means I now have to make a trip two hours to hospital just for the lab work, which is frustrating because I would have preferred to coordinate the lab work and appointment on the same day to avoid extra travel costs. I could have just rescheduled appointment for a different day and I could do in person appointment and lab work done in one trip. Just ranting ❤️ thank you for listening
