Two Questions: 1. I take a Macrobid every so often (antibiotic) and I also take the pill everyday. I’m just worried about a possible drug interaction causing the pill to be less effective. Does anyone know anything about that? 2. I started taking the pill again (different brand) after a year long break and just started my second pack. I have 2 sugar pills but during my first pack I didn’t exactly get much breakthrough bleeding just a little spotting. I’ve taken my pills everyday the exact same time and never missed one pill. Any advice would be great :) 💊💊💊💊💊💊⚠️💤💤💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊 Lo Loestrin Fe

1) Macrobid does not interfere with birth control. Only 2 antibiotics are proven to. 2) If you use your pill correctly it doesn’t matter whether you bleed or not. It’s not a period, the bleeding that may occur is just from the withdrawal of hormones, not because you’re “due”. You’re also in the adjustment period which can take 3-6 months.
