hey guys, i started the mini pill two weeks ago and i started my period at its normal time a few days ago. i was told that my periods would probably go away, so is it normal that i got mine? is it like, a thing that goes away over time or will i always have a lighter period?

I started the desogestrel mini pill at the end of November 22' and my period stopped in January 23', had the odd bit of bleeding since but mostly none. Everyone is different tho

normal, it could stop at any point, it could carry on, but the first 3-6 months your body is adjusting to the pill!

Ideally you don’t bleed at all on the mini pill but irregular bleeding is a common side effect.

with the mini pill you take it non stop, so it isn’t a real period like your normal one before you started the pill, the mini pill is known to lighten bleeds also !!
