You're never "due" a bleed while on the pill because you don't have a real cycle anymore. If you take the pill correctly (and account for things that may affect the pill's efficacy such diarrhoea/vomiting/missed pills/medication/etc) you shouldn't worry about pregnancy.

Taking it correctly means: -taking it as instructed, within your usage window (for most combined pills it's 24h from the moment you're due to take it) -knowing what can interact with the pill (vomiting, diarrhea, medications etc) -the pills are not damaged in any way and are stored properly -not extending your break weeks (if your pill allows for them) I would recommend you to read through the whole pamphlet that you got with your prescription. They're also available online. It's important to understand what you're taking, how it works and what can affect it. And what to do in situations such when you miss a pill etc.

No pill has a usage window of less than 3hours (the mini pill) so you're fine. Taking at the same time every day is ideal because you develop a habit of taking it, and you're likely to experience less side effects because the hormone levels are more stable.

If you're ever concerned that your protection is compromised, follow your pamphlet's instructions and use condoms when having sex. Pregnancy tests are 99% accurate if it's been more than 21 days since sex (enough time for the pregnancy hormone levels to be high enough for the test) But most birth control pills basically work by tricking your body thinking that it's already pregnant therefore suppressing ovulation meaning there's no egg released to be fertilised by sperm. No egg=no baby. That's also why a lot of the side effects listed are the same as for pregnancy.
