I do. Best thing to do is take a deep breath and take a logical approach. Is there anything you can do to lessen the pressure? Is there a day you can take off to relax? Is it work, school, relationship, etc, and what can you really do to control those?

@Draculaurasb Have you applied to everything you possibly can? Including fast food, grocery stores, small jobs near you? Or are you being specific in your job search.

@Draculaurasb If you find a job near you that you really think you’d like, stay on top of contacting them. That’s the best way to make sure your application went through and that you can get an interview set up. Personally, I work in the hiring/orientation department at my job (which is just a small retail job, part time) and I have people who call 2-3 times a week to get an interview. I also would find hobbies you can do for significantly cheaper. Do you like to read? Have you tried to teach yourself yoga maybe? What about learning a new language online? You can do research on free or cheap hobbies to do.

@nicoanstic_ hi so I was looking for something where I could get out and socialise but also be a bit active so I tried karate but it was expensive and people was rude and then I looked at a baking class that was £50 for one session 💀I also don’t drive and the area that’s pretty much as it is I do read occasionally but it’s like my mind can’t switch off from that if that makes sense I want something where I can leave the house

@Draculaurasb Is there a reason you don’t drive, if you don’t mind me asking? That might benefit you greatly

@Draculaurasb If I were you, I’d be on top of finding a job first. Like I said above, calling the places until you get an interview or get a flat out no. Then, I’d put aside money from that to start driving. Driving will benefit you in finding a better job, as a lot of places will probably be looking for someone who can have reliable transportation (saying that from experience in my job). For hobbies, you really don’t have any other option if you can’t afford something social. Unless you can find something free. I was giving suggestions based on the money problem lol.

Most jobs are found through connections. Try using your network- parents, family friends, cousins, schoolmates etc.

Definitely go through connections if you can, also are you applying directly to the company or through job sites? Have you reworked your CV & do you tailor it for each role? Have you tried applying for any temp roles too?

I’ve just been in this situation but for an internship, I’ve applied to over 20+ different companies, and even contacted them multiple times over email and phone. It’s not a business you can just walk into. I finally managed to find a place (after 2/3 months) through the network of one of my teachers, so I would start there. Ask your relatives, friends and peers if they can help out.
