Hi, I have a question because I'm really panicking. Since I started taking birth control pills, I've had yeast infections many times, at one point it was constant for several months, and once it didn't go away after taking medication. I've been to many gynecologists and only this month have I started taking probiotics, I'm also more aware, and I've changed my diet a lot. However, I'm very young and of course I want to have children someday, etc. Do you think that for such a long time I could have fertility problems?

Yeast infections don’t cause infertility.

Are you using any products down there? Don’t. Just stick to water. Is your partner getting treatment? They could be passing bacteria through sex. Do they practice good hygiene? Are they using scented products? Because they shouldn’t. Yeast infections don’t cause fertility problems, who even told you that?

Even so should still not have any impact on your long term health or fertility.

@Thiloona if it happens for such a long time there should be a repeated pattern to what the cause is. Maybe use condoms for a prolonged period of time to see if it helps x
