I’ve been texting with this guy for about a week. I was out of town, and when I got back, we planned to meet for coffee, but he had to cancel last minute. He gave me a valid explanation, and I had other plans that night anyway. Later that night, around 12:30 a.m., he texted me asking to meet up, but I said no, obviously. The next day, he apologized and told me he was leaving town but really wanted to see me when he got back. We scheduled a date for yesterday. He mentioned he needed to do a quick favor for a friend — just pick up a phone — and asked if I was okay with it. I said it was fine. (I live a third world country) But when we got there, things didn’t go as planned. The person with the phone needed help with a translation, and we ended up sitting there with four people at the table, waiting for over an hour and a half. It wasn’t his fault, and he did apologize, but we barely got to enjoy the date. I don’t know how to feel about it. I know he didn’t mean for it to go that way, but it also felt like my time wasn’t valued.

I personally wouldn't waste any more time on him. He basically inconvenienced you so he could prioritize something on his to do list. He could have picked up the phone another time. Tbh it doesn't sound like he's going to prioritize you or your time.
