But I re read into it that it’s meant to be 3 week patch one week bleed so should have of bled on the 19th instead ? Also I put a fresh patch on after my week bleed on the 2nd April then the 9th do I keep my patches off today or put one on and bleed the 23rd I’m so confused now 😭

Your doctor is not responsible to tell you how to use your birth control, that responsibility falls back on you. Doctors are often very misinformed about birth control as well, so always read your instructions. Luckily for you it’s entirely optional to take a break week. There is no harm in delaying or completely skipping them.As long as you use your patches every week you have nothing to worry about. I don’t recommend taking a break every other week so I’d just continue putting your patch on.

If you do decide to skip your breaks and your patches are covered by insurance, make sure the extra patches you’ll need are covered too. Else you may run out of them and not get a refill.

So I’m confused did you not change your patch every week for 3 weeks? Or did you change them every week?

The way the Evra patch works is every week you put a new patch on and remove the old one for 3 weeks (that’s why there is 3 patches in 1 box) and then on the 4th week you take your patch off and leave it off for 1 week and then repeat with the next box
