If I skipped my break week by starting the next pack of active pills instead of taking the break week pills, am I still protected if I missed on pill in the second continuous pack?

Must I then skip my break week again next month or use condoms to make it 21 consecutive pills taken? Otherwise I won’t be protected in the last right week?

The missed pill was in the form of throwing up so I’m now technically one pill shorter

You can take a protected break if you’ve taken at least 7 consecutive pills correctly.
