Would you guys give away lightly used makeup in a buy-nothing group, or is that gross/unhygienic? I would spray everything with alcohol first to sanitize. I have a pretty nice eyeshadow palette from a prestige brand that just doesn't work on my skin tone, but it took a few tries to realize that was the case. I don't want to just throw it away which seems wasteful but its pointless to keep it in my collection when the colors don't show up on me. Also a lipstick that I tried one time and it was instantly clear it wouldn't look good on me lol.

I don’t see a problem with that as long as the person receiving it knows it’s been lightly used!!

I think it’s fine. Just be upfront about it that it has been used so any buyer is aware.

I think the eyeshadow is fine to give away but I wouldn’t give away used lipstick as that can be pretty unhygienic and can spread stds.(not saying you have any) but I personally would never trust used lipstick.

I would not buy for health reasons, pink eye and herpes are found on peoples lips and eyes. But because your not charging, I would say its up to the person who will claim it if they want it or not
