hi! i am on my 3rd month of generic yaz, and I’ve been nauseous for about 9 days. I took my last pack perfectly (I think) but I was very active last month and got anxious and took a plan b. I got my expected withdrawal bleed (later than usual but I read that’s normal after using EC) and started new pack on time. had unprotected sex 2 times in the first week (no condom but he pulled out) I started getting nauseous around 5 days after the last encounter. I’ve taken 2 pregnancy tests (last one being 14 days after the last encounter) both negative but both using 2nd morning urine so idk how reliable. I’ve never been nauseous on birth control before, I take my pill everyday between 8pm-12am and not on an empty stomach. The nausea started out of nowhere and I’m just paranoid because it’s ongoing :(

Unfortunately nausea can be a regular side effect of a pill, it’s possible your body is reacting the the fillers in the generic version and may take some time to even out, I wouldn’t worry about pregnancy unless you’re not taking your pills correctly. As long as you’re using your pills correctly there’s no need to worry about having “unprotected sex” because you’re protected by the pill
