So I recently started taking birth control for ovarian cyst I stopped taking the pills a couple days ago now today I’m bleeding it isn’t the normal color and my period is 18 days away not sure if it’s the cyst or the pills Brand: Tri-Sprintec

i’ve got ovarian cysts too and experienced this before, it’s normal to start to bleed once you come off the pill but if the colour is really different from your usual, i’d maybe consider talking to a doctor about it. other than that, the bleeding is normal, it’s usually just the pill. i’ve never experienced bleeding from ovarian cysts.

It’s a brownish color. Is the bleeding like a period or just a one day thing kind of nervous lol

oh yeah the brownish colour is normal, that’s your withdrawal bleed! :) it’ll last for a couple days, 4/6 tops, nothing to be worried about :)

How many pills did you take before stopping? You no longer have a real natural period as you’re on the pill, so your old cycle is irrelevant now so you can stop tracking it.

Brown blood just means it has been oxidised.
