I've been on the pill nearly 3/4 years. The one i'm on now I don't have periods, my gp is trying to persuade me to get the bar? Any opinions?

I would stick on the pill if I were you - why fix something that isn’t broken?

If you like your pill I wouldn't change methods. Why mess with what works? And with progesterin only methods like the bar you're much more likely to get spotting and irregular bleeding.

Some people really like the implant because you don’t have to worry about taking it every day and there is no human error involved. I don’t know where you live but I’m in the UK and they keep suggesting the implant to me because it’s cheaper for the NHS but at the end of the day they can’t force you to change so if you are happy with your current method then stick with that

Thank you guys, like I am good taking it just annoying with the no period reason but I can't take anything else bar the bar and coil since the combinded had severely highered my blood pressure 😭😂

The implant will likely cause you to not have a regular period due to the fact it has only progesterone in it
