I needed a new gyno cause mine retired but the new one won’t refill my ring without an appointment…which I have to wait for… if I miss a month of the ring will it mess up my cycle or body? Not concerned about pregnancy rn

It will spiral you into adjusting off the pill and when you get back on you need to get through a 3-6 month adjustment phase again. Definitely not recommended. You said that pregnancy isn’t an issue but what if it were? They should meet you halfway at reasonable conditions. Contact your new gynaecologist about this and that you need a refill before your appointment or try elsewhere.

If you’re in the US you might be able to get in for a one time refill through your local planned parenthood. Or if you’re a college student, your universities student health center would likely be able to help. Even a walk in clinic or telehealth visit through nurx {S1pDtHNWP} It would be very worth it to try somewhere else and avoid having side effects from coming off and restarting.

I checked in Nurx and it looks like they have a generic version of the ring which you could get a prescription for and then pick up at your local pharmacy.
