i started re-taking cerelle (the mini pill) on the 4th as my period, according to flo, is due this valentine’s weekend. very silly i know but i’m praying it works and my period doesn’t come 🥹🙏 has anyone done anything similar before??

You no longer have a real period while on the pill, so using apps such as flo is useless. You may or may not bleed, there's no way of predicting it. But generally the mini pill is know for stopping any bleeds, but you're still in the adjustment phase and new to taking it again, you are more likely experience side effects such as irregular bleeding.

@yi_eune i’ve been on multiple forms of contraception since around age 13 for various reasons but since turning 22 i wanted to do without. i take it occasionally when i’m planning to see my long distance partner 😅

The pill is really not meant to be taken on and off like that

@destiny2626 is there a reason why you guys can’t have sex if you happen to have your period? Birth control isn’t meant to be taken occasionally.
