Shaving tips required - any time I shave my bikini area after it’s grown out it’s A1 - a few days/week later when i try to again it hurts like HELL feels like I’m tearing the hair out so I have to stop and wait until it grows again. With beauticians being closed I can’t get a wax so any tips on how to fix this? 🤦🏼‍♀️

A bikini trimmer. You wont get as close of a shave but I find it's so much better to be comfortable and have to shave more often than it is to be super uncomfy

I shave with the grain, it doesn’t get as close a shave but I never get razer bumps or burn or anything

Wax at home maybe? I have the same problem when shaving. The best advice I could give you is to exfoliate the area often & before shaving. Make sure you warm the area as well as it will soften the hair and skin & will hurt less!

I personally get waxed but when I used to shave I found out that having a hot shower or bath before always helped then instead of soap or shaving foam I used coconut oil or baby oil and I found that always made it less sore and less likely to get raser burns !! I also used a mans raser !! Hope this helps :)

Baby oil definitely helps and I find using men's razors with a conditioner rather than shaving gel works!

I usually do it in the shower and let warm water run on my body so that it’s not that harsh. I then use a bit on conditioner and shave with the grain, then the sides, then against the grain if I want a smooth shave (: I also make sure I use a men’s razor & that it’s not dull!
