Hey guys. I’ve recently started the minipill Cerelle in the UK, and i only have a week left. I went to the nurse a few days ago and she prescribed me a generic desogestrel only in the UK called Zentiva. She stated that as it was a minipill i could just continue to take it after my current pill runs out as i would usually. can anyone else confirm that this is possible? i’ve been quite stressed about this, i hope she isn’t going to change my pill every time i go. she said that nothing would change and after research i found that apparently you don’t need additional contraception as the hormone is already active in my body. i’d just like a second opinion please
