So my boyfriend found my old messages with my ex that redownloaded on my phone when I got a new one and i was unaware of it and now hes saying he feels not special sexually and im so lost on what to do to fix this. He says he feels lost and broken. I just don’t know what to do to help

I’ve tried to let him know that my relationship with my ex was not healthy and that it was traumatic and that he means everything to me and he’s more than special.

Why did he go on your phone and read your messages behind your back? That's a huge violation of trust for me. I don't think that's okay and maybe this relationship isn't healthy either.

Honestly the fact that he’s not believing you when you’ve already reassured him is a worry for me. Maybe have a serious talk about the fact that he’s not willing to trust your word.

Sounds like he was looking for something to blame you for. His behaviour is concerning, your relationship clearly has bigger issues than these messages. I don’t think you’re anyway in the wrong for having messages from years ago.

I’m just lost on what to do bc I love him so much and I just feel guilty bc they were there and I upset him.

He says he wants to just forget he saw them and cuddle when we get home. I have friends to really talk to about this.

You have nothing to feel guilty for when the messages are old. He should feel bad for invading your privacy and not believing you
