Should I take a pregnancy test in 3 weeks? I’m on the pill but was roofied (in college) weekend before last and was nearly unconscious for 3 days so missed a few pills. Had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a few days later and took plan B less than 24 hours later due to the pill being messed up. A few hours before I took it I had light cramping and I’m now starting to think it could have been ovulation cramping. I guess it could also be “period” cramps from missing pills. I know plan B only prevents ovulation, so should I take a pregnancy test in 3 weeks? Should I wait and monitor symptoms? Thanks :)

I am so sorry that happened to you! That’s absolutely terrifying! If you’re on the combined pill, as long as you took 7+ active pills before hand, then you’re protected as it would be considered a break. However, if not I would take a test 3 weeks after the unprotected sex. Plan B isn’t 100% so you can still get pregnant if you take it.

@Lemongrass_ thank you! I’ll take a test as I wasn't really tracking it… this is the first time I’m using it for actual birth control and not just medical reasons since I’d never been in a relationship and if I was hooking up with people before I’d use condoms, so I need to pay more attention now
