Hello. I’ve already had vaginal infections before. I used Neopenotran Vaginal Suppository as prescribed ( Metronidazole + Miconazole) the both times I had infections. I didn’t feel any side effects, but now on my third time of using the same vaginal suppository, I’m having burning sensation when it starts to melt inside my vagina. Is there anyone else who’ve experienced the same? It’s my 3rd night of using it and I’m supposed to take it for 7 nights. Is the burning sensation a side effect? Please help.

I've gotten severe burning and itching from metronidazole. I would ask your doctor if you can get fluconazole instead, which is just a pill taken orally.
