Hi everyone! Haven’t asked a question on here in a while. Has anyone ever taken the wrong colour pill before, I just noticed last night that I took a week 3 pill instead of a week 1 by mistake the day before. I don’t think this should be an issue if I just keep taking the rest of the pack correctly right? It’s not like I missed the pill altogether I just happened to take the wrong dose lol. If they all have the same color then they are the same dosage, doesn’t matter what order you take them in.

I had something similar happen to me when I was on a triphasic pill and could not get a straight answer on whether it impacted my protection or not from my doctor or pharmacy so I just used a condom for a week after. In retrospect though, even if it is considered a missed pill, almost all combined pills allow you to miss one without protection being reduced. Exceptions to that are Qlaira, Yaz, and Zoely (and their generics). {je9BNENhw}

@onthepillxo Nothing in the pamphlet about it so I’m assuming it’s fine! Only tells you what to do if you miss a pill @Angel420 Mine are different colours so I took the higher dose by mistake (week 3) instead of week 1
