TW health, weight loss, counting calories, etc I’m going to rant for a second. I absolutely hate when people shame others for wanting to eat more than just vegetables to lose weight. IT IS NOT HEALTHY TO JUST COMPLETELY CUT YOURSELF OFF OF ALL THE FOODS YOU HAVE BEEN EATING. Carbs are good! Meat is good! Veggies are good! Fruits are good! Pasta is good! Eat whatever you want, just in proportions!

EXACTLY i’m on a weightloss journey and everyone is shocked that i consistently lose weight when eating chocolate (almost everyday) and take out every now and again. cutting your favourite foods out causes the weight loss to not be sustainable because as soon as you stop trying to lose weight you’ll eat all the foods again and gain it all back. everything in moderation

@nikeyxo Yep!!! It’s crazy how many bad diets are out there. It needs to be sustainable and it won’t be if you can’t eat your favorite foods!

people don’t understand that you simply need to be in a deficit to lose weight. i hate diet culture, it caused people to not believe in the science of weight loss 🤣

Yep. And people don’t realize that you can eat ANYTHING while I’m a calorie deficit

and it doesn’t require any exercise whatsoever which people also find crazy. so frustrating

Yes I lost a stone before eating jacket potato’s with beans and cheese, curries with rice, quorn nuggets...I literally had carbs with every meal and didn’t exercise🤷🏻‍♀️ eating just protein and salads and exercising all the time really isn’t necessary! x

Well of course you can lose weight eating anything if you eat little enough of it
