hello, TMI here.. I recovered from my uti. my vagina used to have a smell before, now its all gone..it does not smell weird anymmore, it smells like nothing, I am wondering why this is, do i need to go to my obygyn again?

It's possible that the change in vaginal odor is due to the resolution of the infection. If you are not experiencing any other symptoms and the odor is not bothersome, it may not be necessary to see your OB/GYN again. However, if you have any concerns or if the smell changes or becomes unpleasant again, it's always a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider for further evaluation. Take care!

It’s normal for a vagina to have little to no smell. A strong smell is often a sign of infection.

@Msconfused Hi, glad to hear you have recovered. I am a retired contraceptive nurse. It’s fine for your vag to smell sweetly or not at all. Vaginal mucus changes throughout the month. If you were taking antibiotics for the UTI it is important to take some probiotics afterwards to help your natural flora recover (in your vag).
