Hey girls. So I’ve just had my implant taken out a year early. I am not on the combined pill (Clique) Do I have to take the pill 7 days before I can have unprotected sex? Even though I had the implant taken out and then started the pill the next day? Surely I’m still protected..

Start pill seven days before removing implant. If you didn’t start then you have to wait until you take a weeks worth of pills so 7 pills total

You’ll need to use condoms for 7 full days (meaning you’ll be protected beginning on day 8) if you didn’t start the pill a week before having the implant removed.
