I switched from the combined pill to the mini pill three weeks ago. I now have cramps, light bleeding, spotty skin, sore breast and have slight bowel problems. I know these symptoms are expected and I need to give the pill time but has anyone experienced this and can reassure me that it should get better?

These are all normal side effects of the pills. It’s particularly common to experience heightened side effects when you start the pill or switch to a different pill. It can take 3 months or even longer your body to fully adjust to a new pill brand.

I’m on that pill too girl, It works but sometimes the light bleeding lasts for sooo long and my acne still gets bad and I get cramps. I get really dry and it causes me to have light bleeding and it’s sore to urinate sometimes, I’ve debated on going on a different pill but scared too. atm my cramps are bad and is giving period cramps which does make me uncomfortable. I’ve been on it for a year now and still get the symptoms so mine hasn’t went away after the 3 months.
