Heyy so I have literally just started taking the pill and I have a question. After I have taken my 21 pills, I take a 7 day break, then take my pill again on the 8th day. Am I immediately protected on the 8th day ( first day taking pill again after my “period” ) and can have sex straight away or do I need to wait a week for the pill to kick in and keep me protected? Thanks!

Yes, assuming you use the pill correctly you’re protected before, after and during break weeks. Wouldn’t make sense for a prescription medication to only work 3/4 of the time!
