Hello, i’ve been on the pill for about 3 years, recently ( about a month ) i haven’t took it due to not going to the doctors and asking for it. I’m just wondering if anyone who has done this has noticed side effects on not taking it. I haven’t noticed anything so far, is that normal. Also, i’ve been told that you shouldn’t take the same pill for a long period of time and should take other ones to prevent infertility. Is this correct because my doctor hasn’t mentioned it? Thankyou

The pill doesn’t cause infertility and changing pill brand has no effect on that, never heard of anything like that before

As for stopping the pill, it can take 9 months or even longer for your periods to fully settle down. I stopped the pill last May and personally I didn’t notice any changes at all, just my periods are not perfectly regular like on the pill but they were before I started the pill anyways

@bluerose9 i thought the same, i’ve been told that you’re suppose to change your contraception but the doctor never mentioned it. Thankyou
