Hey! never posted before so here we go also forewarning this may be a bit tmi but not sure who else to ask I’ve recently started to experience pain during sex but only at certain points (like the entrance and deeper in but the middles fine?) ik its not an STD as my partner and i have only been with eachother for 4 years and this problem has literally only just started two days ago. i dont have a yeast infection as no itching just sore with penetration any ideas as to what it may be???

Are you receiving enough foreplay? How long? And the deeper might hurt because he is hitting your cervix; so stop going as deep. Cervix tends to move around so it might be more comfortable at some other point. If you and your partner haven’t ever been screened it’s still a good idea to get tested.

Sometimes when I haven’t had sex for a period of time (like a week or two) I find the insertion to be a little painful but with enough foreplay, it’s no problem. Also maybe he could be going a little too deep like @yI_eune Said in her comment. Try more foreplay and lube

@Yi_eune yea i get a lot of foreplay which is why i was confused to why it was hurting I’ll take ur advice and get tested

@ghosty add more foreplay and use lube. Pain is a sign something is wrong
