Hi! I havent used this app in years- I switched from the patch to a non hormonal IUD. This was due to weight gain (which was caused from alot of fluid retention and appetite increases lol). REGRET IT!! My boobs are now small and im so, so much more hairy now. Tmi, but my butt is literally like that of a mans. My hairline has suffered also immensely, and my skin is awful now too. Would i be able to go on the patch and keep the IUD in? i dont see why not. i guess im more wondering has anyone done this before? and did anyone also experience these symptoms after leaving hormonal contraceptives behind? its really getting me down. I feel like if I was on hormonal patch again I could manage my weight more smoother now. Especially if it comes with the joys i was clearly taking advantage of before (smooth ass lmfao)

You could use both at the same time, yes. But maybe it’s better to just stick to 1 method. There is no guarantee the patch will give you the side effects you’re looking for as going back on a method you’ve used before does not mean you will experience the same thing. It can take up to 12 full months before your body adjust being off hormonal birth control and it’s recommended to wait that long before getting back on. Going off and on in a shorter amount of time does increase your risk of blood clots.

I have heard of 2 methods being used at once to control bleeding (like IUD + pill) so it seems possible, but consult with your doctor.
