Hi everyone, the past couple of days I’ve noticed the area of the lips specifically is very itchy. I have had a skin tag there for years but just these couple of days it’s really irritated & itchy. I haven’t had sex in a week, I have only ever had one partner (husband, exclusive), and use an intimate wash mostly after sex just on the outside. Any ideas what could be causing it, or how to stop it from being so bad?

Could be a yeast infection or BV

Sounds like possibly a yeast infection, or just skin irritation from the wash or potentially friction. All of these things are normal and can happen but if you’re concerned or think you could have a yeast infection I would just double check with your doctor and see what they can give you or what you can do

Also could be ingrown hairs/ irritation from shaving (if you shave)
