I’m on this pill and I’m on the no break set the first few months I got bleeding but had a few months without bleeding but it suddenly came back lasting over 2 weeks to the point I had to up my dosage and now less bleeding now hopefully ends cuz I’m meant to be spending time with my partner. So if this happens to anyone do speak to your GP about your dosage cuz I didn’t and idk if I’ve done the right thing….

Breakthrough bleeding is always a possibility, it doesn’t automatically mean you need a higher dosage. It is a side effect and it can come and go. There is no way to control bleeding so you might just have to accept you may bleed when seeing your partner. You can still have sex if you continue to bleed.

Unfortunately irregular bleeding is a particularly common side effect of the mini pill. There’s not really much you can do about it but wait it out. Out of curiosity what brand did your GP change you to?

@Keppyspaghet did you take two pills instead of one or something? How can your GP change your dosage if you don’t change pill brand?
