hi guys i think im screwed , so i take yasmin, i forgot to take a pill on the 2nd of my cycle , yasmin leaflet said i can just take the missed pill and pill thats due on the same day, cool i did that , i had unprotected sex a few days later at the end of the 2nd week , THEN i forgot ANOTHER pill on the third week, - yasmin said that if i missed two pills in one strip i need to contact my doctor, guys is there a chance i might be pregnant 😭😭😭 it’s been more than 5 days i last had unprotected sex so emergency contraception won’t work, my breast already feel tender, im so stupid i literally was so busy studying for my exams that i completely ignored my reminders and forgot to take it , im so finished

How many days were between the missed pills? The way you typed it out makes it very hard to make a timeline of what happened. I think you should look into a new form of birth control that you don’t have to remember to take daily (IUD, implant, patch, shot) or start using condoms until you get it together again.

@Yi_eune thanks for the reply sorry didn’t see the message, so i it was 6 days in between the two missed pills , and yep you’re right going to finish this strip and use condoms lol

@kimjunmyeons then you can count the pills you missed as a break week (even if you took pills in between) since you took your first week correctly. To ensure protection you need to skip your scheduled break week and immediately go into a new pack once this one is up.
