hello! After one year of not using any birth control, I needed to start use it again. I was using NuvaRing, and now I am using Ornique ring. I inserted it on 14th November, it was when my period started. Now it’s been almost 2 weeks and I still have dark spotting. Also, I have taken painkillers during this time for toothache.. Can it be the reason why I still have dark discharge? Does someone experienced something like this before? Thanks!

Irregular bleeding is a side effect of BC, it’s dark in colour because it’s old oxidised (exposed to oxygen) blood, which doesn’t really mean anything.
