I have a 3 year old small dog. I’m more of an introvert and spend a lot of time at home. We go on walk sometimes but not all the time if it’s raining or my back hurts (I have a good size backyard). Do other dog owners feel like they should be doing more with their dog? Like I’m not doing enough for my dog or my dog is not seeing the fun things in life?

I think if your dog is generally well cared-for it's not a big deal. The alternative would be for your dog to be on the streets or in a shelter (assuming you rescued it) so it's just good that you're giving it a safe, loving home. Dogs do need stimulation from things like walks and playtime but it also depends on their individual personality and I feel you can also sometimes tell if they're not getting enough because it will show in their behavior.

I think its important to know why you feel like you could be doing more. What is the dog doing that makes you think this? If you feel like he should be walked more frequently maybe ask around if someone can help out, maybe you can pay a neighbour’s kid (obviously one you can trust) or an organisation to do it
