what do you mean by continue your break? as in start it?

you can start your break if you’d like, it doesn’t matter how many pills you take before your break **ASLONG AS ITS MORE THAN 7 DAYS**

@Msconfused It doesn't matter how many pills you take. You can start a break whenever you want as long as ur break is NO LONGER THAN 7 DAYS.

yes ^^^ don’t take a break longer than 7 days but i was saying you have to take the pill for more than 7 days (8 pills) to have a break

@Liv123 it does matter how many pills you take. You can’t just take a break whenever you want. You do need to take at least 7 pills correctly before you can have a protected break and then end it on time by taking new pills after the break is over. Why? Because that’s how many pills are needed to stop ovulation from happening during the break week.

@Yi_eune Yes of course i just assumed that someone taking birth control pills would already know that it has to be taken for minimum of 7 days before :) And you can take a break whenever you want as long as it's after 7 pills and the break ends within 7 days.

@Liv123 usually people who ask questions on this app aren’t fully educated on the pill so all the facts need to be given :))

Hello! thank you for the advise, i really did not know about the 7 day rule my lady doctor did not explain it either, it is not explained in the booklet clearly either! but this discussion surely helped a newbie like me a lot thank you!!!
