Hey guys, i started the pill just over a month ago.I lost my virginity last week and ive had spotting/period ever since but my doctor told me i wouldnt have a period for the first 3 months of my pill. Has this happened to anyone else? or does anyone know what this is?

Taking active pills doesn’t mean you won’t bleed. Irregular bleeding or breakthrough bleeding is always possible even after using the pill for years.

^ your doctor wasn’t entirely correct, you can experience side effects which include irregular bleeding at ANY time while on the pill. As the pill prevents ovulation you no longer have real natural periods sure, but bleeding is a possibility at any time, it’s just a side effect of the pill not an actual period.
