Hi so I’ve been on birth control for a couple of months now never really missed a pill except from last month as soon as I missed one tho I couldn’t stop bleeding for three weeks even tho I took them the other days also thing is before that missed pill me and my bf were having sex everytime he came in me it was with a condom on or he’d pull out but one occasion he pulled out a second before and idk if I could be pregnant now?

Missing pills can cause (prolonged) irregular bleeding, if you followed your instructions on missed pills and taken the rest correctly you won’t be at risk. Pulling out does nothing, so don’t rely on it if you’re unsure. Always follow your instructions.

@Yi_eune I’m now remembering tho I didn’t take the two on the two days after that all though I went hospital as they was concerned at the amount of blood clots and they made me a take a pregnancy test and it was negative I’m just thinking maybe it wasn’t accurate ?

@Pikachu2003 if you didn’t follow your instructions then there is a possibility you could have become pregnant if you had sex without a condom in the period you would be unprotected. A pregnancy test is accurate after 21 days as long as you read it at the correct time, not before and not after. This time can be found in the leaflet or on the box of the test.
