I was treated a couple of weeks ago for a UTI, I have now taken 2 does of thrush medicine 5 days apart. I’m 4 days past the second tablet and still experiencing symptoms is this normal?

Have you been abstaining from sex? Was this an oral pill or vaginal suppository? Does the pamphlet for the medication have any instructions like go back to your doctor if symptoms have not improved x number of days after treatment?

Yes I’ve been abstaining from sex and my partner has also taken a treatment to be sure. It says improvement should be seen in 1-3 days but could take up to 7 days it was an oral pill @bluerose9

@livilou I’d say wait until it’s been 6 or 7 days and then contact your doctor if there’s been no improvement
