I’ve been on the combined pill and everything has been normal but the last time I went to the pharmacist to get a new pack she rejected my prescription because my blood pressure was too high - so I monitored it everyday at home for a week and it was perfect the whole time. The next time I went back it was too high again and honestly I think it’s a combination of being a bit anxious, going out in the heatwave etc.. because it’s completely fine when I do it at home in my own comfort. She told me she will only give me it if I have a 24 hour monitor on me but I can’t really do that because i don’t want my mother to know about the pill (she just gets a bit too over involved in some parts of my life and i just prefer to not tell her something private like that). I only have one blister left so idk what to do :/ 💤💤💤💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💤💤💤💤

Why is the pharmacist checking your blood pressure? I don’t know about everywhere else but in Canada your doctor will check your blood pressure before they give you birthcontrol along with a pregnancy test before you start using it for the first time and then they’ll prescribe it for like 3 months with a couple refills and then you just go pick it up and the pharmacist doesn’t really ask questions at all unless it’s a new prescription

Can you get a prescription online? There are different providers online that can mail you your pills or maybe pick up at the pharmacy. Not sure about your country, but something to check into
