Does anyone else experience depression as a side effect of the pill when you are drinking wine or any alcohol?

Depression is not a side effect of birth control, it may impact your emotions at most. If it’s something you’re struggling with I’d avoid alcohol and seek out professional help

@rapunzel18 Hi, unfortunately depression is the most commonly listed symptom of contraceptive pills as the synthetic hormones mess with your body. You can check any of your symptoms listed in any of the pamphlets on this app. X out of chat, Tap the pill pack bottom right and tap brands, a long list appears.

Alcohol could be exacerbating depressive feelings so if it feels bad when you drink I'd definitely cut back.

Depression is possible with estrogen containing birth control but it will 100% be exacerbated by alcohol
