Hi everyone, so I have had 2 times a condom has broke in the same pack. The first time was at the beginning so wasn’t much of a problem but this time we didn’t realise so I needed to having to get a plan B however I’m unsure why they keep breaking. They are the durex red feel thin ones so not even a cheap brand, stored properly, we weren’t having rough sex both times and there was no friction because I was wet so I’m unsure why they keep breaking. I’m not sure if it’s the batch or possibly because they are to small but i have seen people putting a condom over their whole leg so surely it can’t be that! Would anyone maybe know or suggest alternatives (I am going back on birth control but now I have to wait until next month because of the plan B). Thanks girl :)

Are you putting them on correctly? I find it's easy to accidentally put them on inside out. Also check the date to make sure they aren't expired

@aurielle they are definitely put on correctly and the date is fine, they expire in 2029.

Maybe get a larger size? Often condoms will say small medium large etc on them, it could be that it’s a bit tight and then with the friction too that may cause it to break? May also be worth using lube, i’ve had it in the past where a condom has broken even though i was wet just cause of all the movement and friction it wasn’t enough lubricant, and we started using lube which seemed to stop them breaking. You can get some for like £2 from superdrug so worth a try!
