So I'm trying to think of a nickname for my boyfriend to call him, that's similar and presents the similar kind of submission from my side and dominance and assertiveness from his, like the nickname "Daddy". It's the only nickname which feels right, I'm very vulnerable when I call him this and it's so intimate, but I call him like this all the time so I want to think of more that give the similar message, feeling and bond. Anyone has any ideas? I've thought of "Master" but it sounds foolish in my language. Google isn't helping.

Is there a reason why you can’t just use the English word?

@Yi_eune I see it as unusual to talk in english during life in general, especially during sex, rather in our native language. I'd understand if one of us speaks another language so we communicate in english, but if both of us were born in this country where english or any other language besides it's own isn't used if not necessary, and we've both spoken this language since we spoke our first word as children, it's odd to talk in another language, and can be awkward expecially if one of us isn't very good at it, etc. It's just not common. Besides that, I've found it turns me on when my boyfriend speaks to me in english, since I find many sexual words in our language sound a bit foolish, and prefer them in english, but it is indeed odd and I'm not used to it, I also don't think my english sounds very attractive, since I never speak it and don't practice so I don't have the confidence to do that without creating an awkward/odd situation and feeling terrible about myself.

Maybe "supervisor" or "boss" work better in your language?

@Yi_eune Thank you. I speak Croatian. I doubt there are people here who speak my language though. If yes great, but I'm looking for ideas in English mainly, because most of people speak English here I'd say, so I just translate the word in English in Croatian.

@bookgirlie I don’t speak it myself but I definitely think it’ll be helpful for people to know, there’s people from all over the world on this app so there is a chance someone might speak Croatian! Some things you could potentially try: - Mister (Mr.) - Sir - Captain - (my) Lord - Leader/Alpha - (my) Owner/Keeper

@Yi_eune I also thought of Mister and Sir, Mister is a tad too serious while Sir I like, but I still think it sounds better in wnglish, but so I thought for Daddy too until I started using it more often in Croatian and then I started loving it in both languages. These ideas are great, Owner I didn't think of and I love it. Might start using both Sir and Owner in my language, so I'll see if I like it. Thank you for your suggestions
