TW: MENTION OF WEIGHT LOSS hi i’m 20 and i’ve been on the pill (mya) since june of 2024. i was diagnosed with pcos at age 19. recently i have lost 20-25 pounds in the past 3 months. the only thing that has changed has been i am a grocery store supervisor and i walk around 10k steps a shift. i have struggled with losing weight for 4 years now but now that i’m not trying to lose weight it’s suddenly happening. has anyone else with pcos experienced random weight loss?

Definitely worth going to a doctor and getting it checked out to be on the safe side x

I don’t have PCOS, but I do have hypothyroidism. When I went from a desk job in an office that I’d had for a year and back to teaching where I’m on my feet the majority of the day, I lost 15 pounds without changing anything about the way I eat or anything else I do. I would say if the weight loss concerns you, or if it doesn’t concern you now, but continues further without you doing anything additional beyond your new job, then check in with your doctor.
