Hello! It’s been lovely reading everyone’s posts on here and seeing how friendly and understanding everyone is. I’ve officially been on birth control for one month now. Me and my boyfriend are long distance but I’m visiting him in September after a little over a year and a half since having seen him last. I wanted to start taking the birth control a couple months early just to kinda see how my body and my mood react to the symptoms and changes. I just started my 2nd pack, and was wondering if it’s absolutely necessary to take the placebo pills? I’ve read my manual and I’ve researched online, and from what I’ve read it’s not really necessary. I just wanted to double check with other people since it’s my first time taking it. I’ve taken my birth control on time except for a couple of times, but I always forget to put on the app that I’ve taken it which is why it shows like that. Anyways, please let me know if I absolutely have to take the placebo pills during the break week, or if it’s okay to just leave them and start the new pack once my break is over. Thank you guys💓 Brand: Mirvala / 28 💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊⚠️💊💊⚠️💊💊💊💊💊‼️💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💊💊⏱

It’s not, I’ve been on multiple pill brands and none of them even had placebo pills, just a 7 pill free days

No you don’t have to take them they’re just there to serve as a reminder to take the pill and keep you on track

You don’t have to take them but they can help you stay on track. The placebo pills are just sugar pills, they have no active ingredients
