I don’t know if anyone can help me by reassuring but I’ve been on the pill since I was 16 and recently I’ve been seeing a lots of things about people coming off the pill and them now having problems when coming off of it such as experiencing blood clots and being diagnosed with endometriosis. I am at that age now where having children in the future. I really don’t know if this is the case but I don’t know whether to come off of the pill now to stop this from occurring for me in the future ?

Birth control does not negatively impact your odds of conceiving. People tend to use birth control from a young age, like yourself, and don’t get diagnosed with anything until after they come off.

As said above birth control does not reduce your fertility and is perfectly safe to use long-term. Remember that response bias is a thing meaning that people who have negative experiences, even though they are the minority, are more likely to speak about their experiences than those for whom birth control has been totally fine
