My pills are sold out in the whole city where I live, if I change the brand, will something happen? I've never stopped using condoms with my partner anyway

Can you find a generic brand for your pill? They have the exact same hormones its just a different brand/manufacturer

yes i found one that has the exact hormones but im scared that the brand change would cause something bad

@questionsf it's basically the exact same pill. I've been on about 5 different brands of my pill over the years and I've never had an issue.

^^ switching to another pill that’s exactly the same shouldn’t be a problem. if you’re still nervous, treat it as you would any birth control switch and use condoms for a week or two after the switch. since you already use condoms, you really have nothing to worry about. have you talked to your doctor? is it compromising you’re protection that you’re worried about or some other side effect?
