I had sex and the condom ended up coming off inside of me and he finished inside of it. We didn’t notice until we were done. I am on birth control but I have to switch due to not being able to get a prescription anymore. I have 5 active pills and my 7 day break pills. Do I need to take emergency contraceptive?

Sperm can only live inside of you for up to 7 days, which someone correct me if I’m wrong but I’m assuming if you’ve taken atleast 7 pills correctly leading up to this the 5 more active pills and 2 of your break will keep you protected, I’m not entirely clear on weither or not after you’re finished your break if you stop taking birthcontrol you will be protected but at that point the sperm will be dead?

No, if you’re not sure you’re getting another prescription after this pack then you only have to start using condoms from the beginning of the break week to be sure you’re protected. Assuming you mean you’ve 5 active pills and 7 break pills left and you’ve used your pill correctly up until now of course.
