Should I be upset that my boyfriend removed me from his instagram highlights? I was over at his house in the afternoon and my sister made me aware of it while there and I was literally just crying on his bed because he mentioned this in the past and I was not comfortable with it. I’m currently not on instagram at the moment so I was not aware. I believe he changed his name on tiktok during that time as well. since we had matching ones and it was still like it was yesterday. I don’t know if i’m over reacting and if it’s a small thing but it kind of upsets me a lot in a way but don’t know if this is a big deal. I wasn’t able to talk about the whole highlight thing and we had a good rest of the night but I came home and sent something on tiktok for our streak and saw that his name was changed and I instantly was hurt all over again.

Let him know how his actions made you feel and why it's important to you. It's possible that he may not have realized the impact of his actions on you. Take the time to have a conversation with him about how you feel and why it matters to you

You could ask him why but I also think it’s important to ask why him making changes on his social media influences your emotions this much.

I’m confused tbh, why you are ‘not comfortable’ with him making any change to his social media page? I understand why you are upset that he has removed highlights with you in them, just talk to him and explain why that has upset you. Why is changing his username is an issue for you?

I think it's important to find out his reasons for doing so before jumping to conclusions.

Bit disappointing that he changed stuff on his instagram before communicating with you. What’s he hoping to gain while on a break and how long does he want it to last? He can use reddit but needs to be careful which sub as some can be very incel
