So me and my husband are trying to get pregnant and I recently had my IUD removed last year October and it’s been odd normally my period would come every 28 days. Dec last year my period lasted over 30 days (34 to be exact) and now this month (May) I was suppose to start on the 7th but nothing has happened. Yes I have taken multiple pregnancy tests and all have come back negative 😢 but should I be worried IUD 🩸 Liletta had in for 4+ years

It can take up to a full year to fully adjust to being off of birthcontrol, you will likely have inconsistent periods like you described because your body is re-teaching itself to make its own hormones essentially because having a hormonal contraceptive basically turns off your natural hormones

Congrats, and good luck to you! Coming off of birth control can make your normal cycle very irregular. If I were you, since you’re trying, I’d join another app forum specifically for that. Other women on there may be able to share struggles with this better than us here, as mostly all of us are trying to not become pregnant, so we may not have advice you’re looking for! We’re all hoping our IUD(or BC of choice) will work! 🤣
